sir my masters project is on mitigating route requests based on reputation.......i.e all the nodes have to send rreq packets. they wil have to send it through their one hop neighbor and their one hop neighbor will take into account the no. of rreq sent to the no. of rrep received which will give the reputation of the node and on the basis of this the node will be allowed to send a certain proportion of the data to its actual capability.

now i have studied ns2 and can write tcl codes. but cant understand how to do this sort of work..........plzzzz help.

We are using ns2 as network simulator.Our project guide suggested us to compare two trace files, first will be obtained by running normal tcl script of 20 nodes ..The second one will be obtained by running a tcl script containing an attack(eg. blackhole or wormhole).But the problem is we are not getting the exact idea about how to implement it or how to write any attack in tcl. @Sandeep Sandhu - After generating the traffic files using cbrgen - you will have to manually configure TCP variants.

Regarding error model, the following link may help you:

@Madhuri Mane - You will have to introduce selfishness in the node yourself. By default, nodes in ns-2 won't behave in a selfish manner.

@Shwetha Shwethu - AODV uses "hop count" as a routing metric i.e., in your words - hop count is the fitness function used in AODV.

@Network - I have not worked on that area much, so at this time point cannot provide any solution for that. However, I would encourage you to share your byzantine attack code of ns-2 with other users of ns-2 either by putting it on your blog or anywhere else.

@Devu - No, it is not possible to do that using NSG!

@Shivm Narwade - There is no such ready made code available! Try to install ZRP patch separately because it does not come within the default package of ns-2.

1. Use some example TCL scripts given in ns-allinone-2.xx/ns-2.xx/tcl/ex folder which have mobility scenarios.

2. Use Bonnmotion tool to generate your mobility pattern (http://mohittahiliani.blogspot.in/2010/04/mobility-models-for-ns-2.html)

3. Use SUMO or MOVE to generate your mobility pattern (http://www.dlr.de/ts/en/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-9883/16931_read-41000/).

@Varsha - The best way to start learning TCL is to go through Marc Greis tutorial thoroughly. To simulate WSN in ns-2, either use NRLSensorSim or Mannasim. Just to let your know, NRLSensorsim gives 14 sample TCL scripts for simulation and Mannasim gives a TCL generator by which you can generate TCL script for WSNs.

my doubt is can i generate tcl script for pegasis and tree based routing protocal using routing type as aodv. can i give node connection according to pegasis and route type as aodv without modifying .cc and .h files
